The Graduate School coordinates a variety of workshops throughout the year for Faculty/Staff and Students, providing Faculty/Staff and Students with resources to help with academic and professional success through information sessions, celebrating the achievements. How to Survive Graduate School
Purpose: Graduate School requires a great deal of discipline and hard work. Learn strategies to help you excel in graduate school such as forming study groups, networking with others, research, time management skills, proposal writing, and written and oral communication skills.

EndNote Web: Citation Management Tool
Purpose: Looking for a citation management tool? EndNote Web is a *free* (to university affiliates), Web-based program for collecting and organizing references, managing citations in papers, and creating bibliographies. EndNote Web allows you to import citations, abstracts, and links; search and import references from library catalogs; share references with other EndNote Web users; format and export bibliographies; use Cite While Your Write™ in Microsoft® Word to easily cite references in your paper while automatically creating a bibliography.

Purpose: Review of the procedures and policies that govern research that involves living human beings. Surveys, interviews, focus groups, and social experiments all need approval. Smooth this process by learning the basics and how to write an appropriate consent form.

Ethics & Research Part 2
Purpose: Education in responsible conduct in research (RCR) is a requirement for students who are supported by training grants that are awarded by federal agencies such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Science Foundation (NSF). This workshop will provide an overview of the nine areas identified by the NIH Office of Research Integrity as comprising the core of research integrity training. Attendees will have an opportunity to engage in analysis and discussion of case studies in research ethics in a group setting.

Honors Ceremony
Purpose: Each semester, the Graduate School honors graduate students who have maintained a 4.0 G.P.A upon the completion of their academic programs. In this ceremony, students will receive a certificate. Afterward, graduate honor students and their guest are invited to a reception.
